Date of establishment : 

The NCH was established with capital of LE 20 million according to the "Deputy Premier & Minister of Planning , Finance & Economy " decree (335/1980) , published in El Wakaea El Masrya (227) , dated 9/12/1980 and stated in January 1981.

Period of the company :  

25 years (starting the decree publishing date) ,which was renewed for more 25 years starting 9/12/2005, subject to the Chairman of General Authority of Investment & Free Zones ,decree ( 4327/2005) .

Capital : 

LE 20 million, which reached as issued and paid up LE 160 million (was fully paid up)

Authorized capital : LE 300 million  

- Shareholders

*Banks : 

(National – Misr- Suez Canal – National Bank for Development – Nasser social Bank ) , with a capital amounting to about LE 147,7 million ; 92,3% of the company equity .  

*Syndicates, Corporations and Individuals, about LE 12,3 million ; 7,7% of the total equity .

Major Activities ( for 30 years)

1)   Housing

The achievements of the National Company Has followed in the field of construction, reconstruction and the establishment of big communities and towers of various levels of housing and in different areas in Cairo, Giza and Alexandria, with a total size of the builders about 376 000 m2 and represents about (53) Building include the 7532 housing units, other than surfaces of administrative and shops business with a total investment of about 251 million pounds of the following: -

- Number of (18) residential buildings in various places in Cairo with a total surface builders about 132 thousand m2, which represents the (709) housing units

- Number of (32) residential building in the area of El Haram and Dokki and Agouza at Giza Governorate with a total surface builders about 208 thousand m2, which represents the (1716) housing units

- Two residential building in Alexandria with a total surface builders about 36 thousand m2, which represents the (328) housing units

2) Tourism

Le Meridien Heliopolis ( 5 stars hotel )

-Capacity : 318 rooms.

-Total investment about LE 120 million (noting that the hotel became wholly owned and a fixed asset, with no financial liabilities.

-Current market value ,about USD 75 million (LE 500 million), covering triple equity.

-The last three years witnessed major successes in terms of operations, total earnings and capital gains.

-In 2008, there should be major renovation and up grading works for reaching highest rates of profitability to cope with similar hotels in the area.
